Josie, Academic Tutor

Josie always knew she wanted to be a teacher from the age of seven. She studied for her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and Education Studies at Canterbury Christ Church University, and was then a teaching assistant for two years.

So that she could fulfil her desire to teach, Josie attended Kingston University to complete a PGCE. Since then she has been teaching in a range of schools in both Key Stage 1 and 2.

Josie believes she has the best job in the world and wakes up every day loving what she does! She lives for the moments of wonder on a child’s face when they have finally got it!

In her spare time, she loves travelling or going on holidays both to explore new places or simply relax by a pool with a book.
